Your skin is your body’s largest organ, as complex and intelligent as your heart, lungs, liver and other vital organs.Understanding your skin type is an important first step in discovering the most effective way to take care of your skin.
Every person’s skin is unique, but there are a few common skin types that may help you to identify where you skin fits in the most. The three main skin types are commonly referred to as Oily, Normal/Combination and Dry. Here are two easy ways to determine your skin type at home:
I think this is the best way to figure out your skintype at home.
You can start by washing your face with Herbsgarden Gentle Cleansing Milk. Then, gently pat dry with a soft towel and do not apply any additional moisturizers, serums or treatments After 25-30 minutes, observe your skin. What does it look like? Does it appear shiny on your cheeks and t-zone? You might have oily skin. Or, does your skin feel tight and have flaky areas? Your skin is likely dry. If you see an unbalanced mix of oiliness and dryness, you most likely have combination skin.
